I have been making and flying models for most of my life. From a very early age I took an interest in flying. My first real encounter with flying was in the Air Cadets in Weston-super -Mare where I learnt as a young man to fly in what I consider to be one of the best gliders ever built, the Slingsby T21. As I went through life I went onto flying powered models including gas turbines. Now in later life, I have gone back to my first love of gliding.
